Sarah said...

He just sat there laughing.
"Ready to go back home?" Christopher asked.
"Sure." I said smiling.
We all got in the car and went back to the house. Anna said goodbye to Christopher and left.
"I guess I'll get going too." Todd said giving me a hug.
"Okay." I said smiling.
"See ya." He said.
"Bye." I said.
Christopher and I went inside. "So, is he not your type or something?" He asked.
"All I want to do right now is call Alex." I said.
"Oh." He laughed.
"Shut up." I said.
"You really like him, hu?" He asked.
"I really like his company." I said.
"Is there a reason you're not calling him?" He asked.
"I think you are too young for this conversation." I said.
He sat down at the kitchen table. "Try me." He said.
"You dork." I said.
"I may be young, but I've been through a lot more than you think." He said.
"Well then you sure hide your life outside the house well." I said.
"I do." He said.
"Don't get you get like good grades and stuff?" I asked.
"Yeah." He said.
I sat down at the table next to him. "Do you cheat?" I asked.
"No. Geez." He said laughing. "I study really hard. I want to get into a good college."
"That's good. Same attitude as me." I said.
"Yeah, but you were a total goody goody." He said.
"I am not." I said.
"I said you WERE. You're not now apparently." He said.
I laughed, "Shut up."
"So is Alex all for the. . . pleasure he gets from you?" He asked.
"Nice wording, nerd." I said laughing.
He smiled, "Is that what he is all about?" He asked.
"It's all it's about now." I said, "We really did try being an actual couple, but it didn't work."
"I'm sorry." He said.
"Oh, it's not a big deal to be honest. I didn't fall in love with him or anything." I said.
"Okay, I see. So you want to call him to. . ." He said smiling.
I rolled my eyes. "Oh, please."
He laughed, "Go ahead. If Mom and Dad get home in the morning before you, I'll tell them you stayed with Tristin." He said.
"Thanks, Chris." I said smiling.
"Well, I am going to take out the garbage and hope they don't notice the missing wine. It was a cheap one, so it was probably a gift." He said. "Then I'm gonna hit the sack."
"Okay." I said.
"Goodnight. Drive safe." He said.
I got up and grabbed my purse. I stepped outside and called Alex. He was sleeping when I called, so I woke him up. He said I could come by. I got all giddy and excited. Christopher came out with the garbage. "Go already." He said.
I laughed. "I love you, you are the best." I said kissing his cheek. "Don't forget to lock up." I said getting in my car.
"Don't forget to be a nag." He said. I just laughed and drove over to Alex's. I knocked on the door, and he just shouted for me to come in. When I walked in there were candles everywhere.
"Alex?" I asked, looking around, and shutting the door behind me. There was a glass of wine on the table with a note saying the wine was for me and to wait for him. I couldn't help but smile.
"Alex, I'm a little confused." I said.
He walked out and laughed. "Confused?" He asked.
"Yes." I said.
"I figured it would add to the excitement." He said.
"You really got up when I called and rushed to do this before I got here?" I asked.
"Yeah." He said. He walked closer to me. He looked like he was still half asleep.
"You're silly." I said.
"No. I'm just romantic." He said, and kissed my neck.
"Oh my god! You are wearing silk boxers." I said.
"Sexy, huh?" He said.
"Oh yeah. But I feel a little out of place." I told him.
"No, you look beautiful." He said, and took my hand and walked me back to the bedroom where he had more candles and some music playing.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
He laughed. My phone started ringing. "Crap." I said. It was Christopher. I answered it. "Mom and Dad are on their way home. I freaked out and said you were asleep." He whispered.
"Christopher! You should have said I was at Tristin's!" I shouted.
"I'm sorry. I don't lie well. I said we were up watching TV and you fell asleep on the couch." He said.
"You dork! Why are they coming home?" I asked.
"Mom was unhappy with their hotel room and refused to stay in it." He said.
"Damnit! Be right home!" I said.
"Hurry!" He said.
"I gotta go." I told Alex.
"Why?" He asked.
"Christopher told my parents I was asleep on the couch." I said.
"So, have him tell them that you decided to go out with a friend." He said.
"The'll want me home."
"Um, Ally, you are 21, you can't stay out with out their permission?" He asked. I stopped and thought about it.
"Well, I can- I don't know why I got worked up about it." I said, and laughed. Alex smiled at me.
"You can go if you want, it just seems weird." He said.
"The thing is. I am very respectful of my parents." I said.
"I understand that." He said.
"And I don't lie to them either. We already kind of did some things they didn't want us doing at the house while they were away. I don't want my brother to get in trouble. They are going to know something fishy is going on if I am not there when they get home." I said.
"Okay." He said.
"Plus, I think you need some rest." I said laughing.
He laughed. I jumped up. "See ya." I said.
"Bye." He said.
I rushed home and Christopher was watching TV. "I'm going to bed." I said.
"Me too." He said.
We both rushed to our rooms and turned off our lights. I was pretty tired, so I fell asleep right away.
