We drove to blockbuster, and I kept trying not to laugh at stuff. I don't think anyone noticed. We got to the store and split up. Everyone was going to pick one movie. Alex and Beth took the first half of the store, and Chris and I took the second half. "Okay, what do you want?" He asked. "I have no idea!" I said, and laughed. "I'm so on to you." He said, and laughed. "What?" I asked, getting paranoid. "It's okay. I smoked a lot in college. I just picked up on some signs. I think it's cool. I've tried to get Alex to, but he's too uptight." Chris said, and I laughed. We grabbed two movies, and met Alex and Beth at the front of the store. "Okay, what have got?" Chris asked everyone.
8:07 PM Sarah said... "Legend." I said. "Ah man." Chris said. "Did you want me to pick something else?" I asked. "I've seen it a dozen times." He said. "That's the one I always make him watch." Beth said. We all laughed. "And picking a new one." I said walking away. "Wait!" Chris said. I turned around. "It's okay." He said. I laughed. "Okay!" I said. We all looked at Beth. "Leaving Las Vegas." She said holding it up smiling. "Wow. I am impressed." Chris said puting arm around her smiling. "You didn't pick some sappy shitty chick flick." He said. We all looked at Chris. "Ferris Buelers Day Off." He said. "Classic funniness." I laughed. "I love that movie!" I said a little too loud. Beth gave me a strange look. "Dazed and Confused." Alex said. Chris and I looked at eachother and he smiled at me. We both started laughing. "You'll enjoy that one." Chris told me as we got in line to pay. "You told him?" Alex asked quietly. "No. He was just able to tell." I whispered. "Oh." He said. "

I already told you that. Don't worry." I said. "Sorry. I'll stop." He said, and put his arm around me. We stopped the store and Beth and I waited in the car while the guys got some food and beer. "Alex seems to like you." She said. "Really?" I asked. "Yeah. I've heard about you a lot the last couple days." She said. "I had no idea." I told her. "I think he is just scared of the age thing." She said. I cleared my throat kind of awkwardly. "Don't worry. I think it is sweet. You don't seem as young as you are." She said. "Thanks." I told her.
9:04 PM Sarah said... My phone started ringing. It was Todd. I answered it. "Ally, it's Todd." He whispered. "Todd, is something wrong?" I asked. "I was at a party and the cops came. Some people were smoking pot and they were trying to bust everyone." He whispered. "Can you come pick me up? I am hiding in some bushes in front of Colin's house. He's not here. I was hoping he was." "What?!" I shouted. "They can't bust you unless you have some on you." "I know that, Ally." He said rudly. "I am just drunk and totally freaked out." "And why are you calling me?" I asked. "Ally, come on. We just had a couple fights." He whispered. "Oh my god, Ally. There are cops driving by shining lights." "Damnit, Todd!" I shouted. "I don't even see how I could do that. What if they see me and think I was at the party?" "They will see that you are not drunk or high." He said. "You wouldn't get in trouble." "What if I am one of those?" I asked. "You're drunk too?" He asked. "No." I said. "Would you stop fucking with me and come pick me up?" He asked. "What if I AM one of those?" I asked again, hoping he would catch on. Beth gave me a strange look. I just smiled. "You said you weren't." He said. "I only cancelled out one of those." I said. "You're high?" He asked. "Yes. I am." I said. He hung up the phone. I knew he was upset. I tried not to cry. Alex and Chris got back in the car. "Alex, I have to go. Todd needs me." I said. "I have to go pick him up. He's stranded at some guys house and he's been drinking." "Oh. Okay." He said. "You can come back over afterwards if you want." "I will." I said smiling. We got back to his apartments and I walked ot my car and got in. I called Tristin. I was too afraid to drive over to Colin's house high, especially since I could get stopped by a cop. She picked me up and we drove to Colin's house to pick up Todd. "He said he was hiding in the bushes." I told Tristin. "You have weird friends." She said. "I'm so sorry about this." I said. She smiled. "No big deal at all." She said. I called Todd to let him know I was on my way. I was so frustrated.
6:30 PM Christina said... "So, you finally broke down and smoked a little weed." She said. "Shut up!" I told her. "You smoked pot. And you enjoyed it! Admit it!" She said. I started laughing. "Okay, a little." I told her. "Liar." "A lot." I said. I told her all about Matt too. "Why the hell are you back at the professors then? What is wrong with you? Matt totally digs you!" She said. "He's a loser." I told her. "He is not. He's in college." She said. "He smoked out all the time." I told her. "Okay, you are saying that to the wrong person." She said. "I didn't mean anything by that. I don't know. I just like Alex." I guess. "Well, I think you're weird, but whatever." She said laughing. We pulled up in front of Colins house, and spotted Todd in the bushes. "Heh. Nice hiding job." She said, and honked the horn. I got out, so Todd could see me. He came running up and jumped in the back. "Yeah, you were so visible." I told him. "I'm mad at you." He said. "Good, I'm mad at you too." I told him. "Who did you smoke with?" He asked. "Nonya." "Who?" He said, getting angry. "Fucking me! Calm the fuck down!" Tristin said. "Whatever. It was Matt wasn't it?" He asked. "No, it wasn't." I told him. "Don't lie to me!" He said. "You are drunk. I'm not having this conversation with you!" I said.
7:13 PM Sarah said... "Fine." He said. "Where the hell am I driving to?" She asked. "You're taking him home and taking me back to Alex." I said. "I'm not driving that much." She said. I gave her a mean look. "I'm sorry. I just don't have enough gas and no money to pay for it." She said. "I told him I would go back." I said. "He's way too old for you anyway." She said. "Tristin!" I shouted. "I agree." He said. "Fuck you both!" I yelled. "Matt is hot as hell. You're crazy." She said. "Matt's a loser." He said. "Yes, I agree." I said. "And Tris, you do not smoke as much as he does." "I do it at least once a week." She said. "He does it every single day." I said. "Probably more than once a day." I'll take you back to your car in the morning, Ally." She said. "I'll get some gas money from my Mom in the morning." "Damnit." I said frustrated. "I'm taking you both to your place. You two need to talk." She said. "Is that what this is about?" I asked. She shrugged her shoulders. "Tristin, Todd and I will never be together." I said. "You're in love with him." She said. I was speechless. "What?!" Todd asked. "Nothing. She's crazy." I said. "I'm not crazy. You love him." She said.
8:02 PM Christina said... "Ally?" Todd asked. I didn't say anything. Tristin dropped us off at Todd's. He had trouble with his keys, and kept dropping them. I got frustrated, picked them up and unlocked the door for him. "Thanks." he said. "Uh-huh." I said. We walked back to his room, and he turned on the light and shut the door. I sat down on his bed, and he plopped down next to me. "Guess we're roomies for the night." I said. "Sorry." He told me. "Honestly, I'm more mad at Tristin right now." I told him. "It's my fault you had to come out in the first place." He said. "So, how is your girlfriend?" I asked kind of snotty. "She isn't." He said. "What?" I asked. "She isn't. I lied. I wanted to see if you would get jealous. I'm sorry." He said. "WHAT? You JERK!" I shouted. "I'm SORRY!" He yelled. "I don't believe you! I thought we were friends!" I shouted. "I thought so too! I can't help it!" He said. I got up, and walked over to his window. It started raining. "That's weird. It normaly doesn't start raining for anouther couple weeks." I said. "It's raining?" He asked. "Yeah." I said. "Thats funny. I don't remember seeing any clouds." He said. "It's dark. And you're drunk." I told him. He walked over and looked out the window with me. "I'm sorry I was with Matt. And got stoned." I told him. "Why are you apologizing for that?" He asked. "Because. I told him I wouldn't tell you. He was pretty sure you would kick his ass." I said, laughing. "Hey, I could you know. I have before." Todd said. "I believe you. He had the fear of God in his eyes when he made me promise not to tell you. Don't let him know you know. Okay?" "Sure." He said, and put his arm around my waist. I looked in his eyes and smiled. "You feel better now?" He asked. I shrugged my shoulders. "Still just as confused as ever I gues." I said, and looked away. "About what?" He asked. "Everything." I told him. I turned away from him and walked back over to his bed. I sat down, and he sat down next to me. "That's all life is, isn't it? Just one big confusing mess?" He asked. "Yeah. I guess so." I told him. "Todd?" "What?" He asked. I leaned over and kissed him. He brushed my hair out of my face, and pushed me over backwards, kissing me the whole time. I stopped. "What?" He asked. "Don't stop this time." I told him, and smiled. He smiled back and kissed me again. I unbuttoned his shirt and slid it off of him.
9:20 PM Sarah said... "Ally." He whispered, then kissed my neck. "What?" "You were just saying earlier in the car that you wanted to see Alex." He said. "And doesn't he think you're going back over there?" "Nevermind him." I said. "Did you sleep with Matt?" He asked as he kissed my neck again. "Todd?" He looked up. "What?" "No. I did not sleep with Matt. Now stop talking about other guys." I said. "Ally, you don't want me." He said. "And I can't compare to the Professor." "Do you like me or not?" I asked frustrated. He looked away biting his lip. "You are making me so nervous right now." He said. "Well, stalling by talking about other guys is very much a turn off." I said. "I'm sorry." He said. "It just bothers me that just a few minutes ago, you were mad because you couldn't see Alex." I sighed and started to get up. "No. Stay." He said. "The thing with Alex is all sexual." I said. "Is that what you want me to say?" "So instead you are getting it from me, since you can't get it from me?" He said. I pushed him over and stood up. "It is not like that at all!" I shouted. "You can't blame me for thinking that." He said. "Did you not hear what Tristin said in the car?" I asked rudly. "That you love me? You denied it." He said. I walked over to the window and looked out again. I saw some lightning and it looked really cool. Todd came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. "Do you love me, Ally?" He asked.

9:47 PM Christina said... "I don't know Todd." I said. A tear ran down my cheek. "Do you?" He asked. "YES! OKAY! I do. I tried to tell you the other day, but you said you were dating your ex again." I said. "I thought you didn't want anything to do with me." He said. "I did. I do." I told him. "So what about Matt and Alex?" He asked. "Stop. I was upset. I didn't feel important or wanted." I said. "So, you went were the attention was?" He asked. "Yes." I told him. "I guess so." "So. Do you want me? Or do you want because I'm here right now?" He asked. "DAMN IT! I just told you I fucking LOVE you! You know what, Fuck it! I'll walk home." I said, crying. I started to open the door, and he closed it. "I'm sorry. I'm an ass. I guess I'm jealous." He said. "You should stay here tonight." He told me. "Thanks. Do you have something I can wear?" I asked him. "Yeah. Here." He said. He opened his drawer and pulled out some drawstring pants and black t-shirt. I changed right there. I'm not sure if he watched or not. Knowing Todd though, I'm sure he turned away. I climbed in his bed, and he slid in after me, hitting the light switch. we were both facing the window and watched the rain trickle down and gather on the window sill.
9:52 PM Sarah said... He put his arm around me and rested his chin on my shoulder. I was still a little confused, so I made sure not to sleep with him. My phone started ringing. I ignored it. "Should you get that?" He asked. "I don't want to move." I said. "Neither do I." He said. We heard the front door open and some people giggling. "Shh. Todd might be sleeping." We heard. Todd laughed. "That's Denise." He said. "Your roommate?" I asked. "Kind of. I guess she lives here part time." He said. "She is actually my room mates ex who hangs out here a lot." "Oh." I said. "Don't worry. I'm not interested in her in any way." He said. "You dork. I wasn't even thinking anything like that." I said.
10:01 PM Christina said... "Uh-huh." He said. "I wasn't!" I told him. "Okay, okay. I believe you." He said, and yawned. "Goodnight!" I told him. "Night." He said, and snuggled up closer. I smiled, and drifted off to sleep soon after. I woke up the next morning when someone knocked on his door. "Go away." He shouted. "It's Denise. Your friends are here to see you." She said. "Tell them I'll be right out!" He said. It was too late. The door opened and Matt walked in with Collin. "Dude! Get up! We're four wheeling, remember?" Matt asked. I lifted my head up, and he froze when he saw me. "Ally?" He asked. "Matt?" I asked, confused. "This is awkward." Collin said.
10:09 PM Sarah said... "It's not what it looks like." Todd said standing up. "I have to take her to her car though." He said. He put on some jeans and a t-shirt. "So, last night when you left my place, you came here?" Matt asked. "No." I said. "I'm confused." Matt said. "So stay confused." Colin said. "Come on. We'll drop her off at her car and head out to the mountains." "Where is your car?" Matt asked. Todd and I looked at eachother. "I'll take her to her car and be right back." Todd said. "No, that's stupid." Colin said. "It's at Alex's." I said. "So that's where you went." Matt said. "Dude, forget about it." Todd said. Matt looked upset, but he pretended he was okay.
10:16 PM Christina said... In the car on the way over I was stuck in the back with Matt. "I thought you guys were friends?" Matt asked me. "We are. I just went over to hang out." I told him. "Hang out? Like you hung out with me yesterday?" Matt asked. "Look, I just want to get my car and go home." I said. "I bet you do. i can't believe you would rather be with that old man then me!" Matt said. "Matt! Drop it dude." Todd said from the front seat. "Easy for you to say. She was in your bed last night." Matt told him. "Hey, I mean it." Todd said. "I get it. I'm just worth a quick a fuck and hit." Matt said. "And that wasn't all she was to you Matt?" Collin asked. Matt didn't say anything. "Ally, you said you didn't-"Todd started to say. "STOP IT! Please! Just shut up and take me to my car. Please." I said. I was so embarassed.
7:45 AM Sarah said... "Did you or did you not?!" Todd shouted. "Matt!" He yelled. "Jesus, shut up!" Colin said. "Did you or did you not?" Todd asked Matt nicely. "Nice going." Matt said to me. "Take me back home." Todd said. "What? We made these plans like two weeks ago." Colin said. "I don't feel like going anymore." Todd told him. "Stop being an ass." Matt said. "Answer my question." Todd said. "YES! Okay!" I shouted starting to cry. "Oh, that's just great. How nice of you. You are upset about me, someone you say you are in love with and you go fuck my best friend." He said sarcastically. "I feel so much better now. Thanks for taking care of her while she was upset, Matt." "Fuck off." Matt said softly. "Take me home, Colin." Todd said again. "Where does this Alex guy live?" Colin asked. "Turn the car around and take us both back to my house. I will drop her off." Todd demanded. "Jesus! I didn't do anything to you! I knew you liked her, I would never try anything with her." Colin said. "I know. I'm sorry. I'm not mad at you, but would you please just take us back." Todd said. "Yeah." Colin said as he made a quick u-turn. "Thank you." Todd said. "This is stupid." Matt said.
8:09 AM Christina said... I started crying, quietly. I was trying not too, because I didn't want to make things any worse. "Ah shit! Now you're crying?" Matt asked. "Leave me alone." I said. "Leave you alone. I told you not to say anything!" Matt said. "I didn't! He figured it out!" I told him. Matt got all fidgety. We got back to Todd's and him and I got out. "Colin, leave before I kick Matt's ass." Todd yelled. "Fuck you." Matt said from the back. He didn't even move to the front, Colin just drove off.
8:26 AM Sarah said... We got in Todd's truck and headed to Alex's. "Todd, I do not want Matt. I do not want Alex. I just want you." I said. "Are you going to hang out with Matt again?" He asked. "No." I said. "Promise?" He asked. "Yes." I said. He turned back around and parked. I looked at him and he looked at me. "I love you." I said. He nodded and rubbed my leg. "Let's go back inside." He said. "Okay." I said. We both got out of the truck and went back inside to his bedroom. "What do we do now?" He asked. "We put all that behind us. We were not a couple anyway." I said. "Ally, I did sleep with Elsa." He confessed. "And that's fine." I said. "I can accept that." I was a little upset, but I ignored it. There was no reason for me to be upset about that. We weren't together. I guess I was just a little jelous. I sat down on his bed. "That's it?" He asked. "Yeah. I mean I'm a little jelous, but I'll get over it quickly." I said. "So, now I have to compare to Goose, Alex and Matt." He said. I giggled. "I could be wrong, but I think I could at least be better than Goose." He said. "Not sure about the professor or Matt." "Let me be the judge of that." I said smiling. "You make me so nervous." He said.
8:45 AM Christina said... "Thats good. It means you like me." I said, and he laughed. "You always make me a little nervous too." I told him. "Really?" He asked. He looked a little surprised. "Yeah, Really." I told him. He smiled at me. "Don't worry. You have something they never have that gives you the edge." "What?" He asked. "Did I not just say I love you before?" I asked. He smiled, and kissed me.
8:53 AM Sarah said... "Do you want to lay down and watch a movie?" He asked. "I would love to." I said smiling. I layed down on his bed and he turned on the TV. "What movie?" He asked. "Whatever you want." I said. "Jackass?" He asked. "Sure!" I said.
10:27 AM Christina said... We watched it, and laughed throughout the whole thing. "Johnny is so hot." I said. "Hotter then me?" Todd asked. "Todd. That is blasphemy! No one is hotter then Johnny!" I said, and he laughed. "Sorry I asked." He said. My phone rang just then. I picked it up and it was Alex. "Hey, what happened? Is everything okay? I tried to call you last night." He said. "Whoa, slow down. Everything is fine. I'm on my way to pick up my car." I said. "Okay." He said, and hung up. "Oh yeah. I guess you want that back, don't you." Todd said. "Yeah. Can we get it now?" I asked. "Yeah, sure. Lets go." He said, and we went to pick up my car for the third time this morning. When we got there, I told Todd I'd meet him at his house. I wanted to run and let Alex know what happened the night before.
10:40 AM Sarah said... I knocked on the door and he answered. I went inside and we walked to his room. I told him what was going on with Todd and everything. He was very understanding. I also told him that I might be trying to see where things go with Todd. He was a little quiet after that. "Hey, you never know if it's going to work out or not." I said. "I know." He said smiling. "I'll see you at school I'm sure." I said. "Okay." He said. "See ya."
10:46 AM Christina said... I left and drove to my house instead of right to Todd's. I wanted to shower and change. When I walked in and Tim was at the kitchen table. "Hey." He said. "Hey. Whats up?" I asked, giving him a hug. "Not much. I'm waiting for your Mom to get ready so we can go shopping for some things for Aubry." He said. "Oh cool. Hey, are you okay?" I asked him. "Yeah. Just my normal glass-is-half-empty-self." He said. I shook my head. "I just don't feel like I'm a good enough father for Aubry. I can't even take care of myself." He said. "Don't even say that! You are brilliant. And, a good father." I told him. "It's just weird. She's two. I've missed so much up untill now." he said. I tried to imagine what it would be like to have a two year old suddenly and unexpectidly in my life. I couldn't. "It'll be a little strange, but once you get used to it, you'll be fine." I told him. "Yeah, I guess you're right. Your hair smells like pot by the way." He said. "What?" I asked. "Don't worry. I'm just used to the smell. Go take a shower." He said, laughing.
11:01 AM Sarah said... "Yeah." I said. I giggled and went right to the bathroom. I was a little embarassed. I took a shower and went to my bedroom to find something to wear. I just decided to wear my pink sundress. I put some make up on and brushed my hair.
11:30 AM Christina said... I went downstairs and Tim was gone. I figured they probalby left for the store. I left a note, and drove back over to Todd's. "Hey. You look good!" He said, opening the door. "Thanks." I said, walking in. "So. What shall we do?" He asked.
11:57 AM Sarah said... "I don't know." I said. "Nintendo?" He asked. "What game?" I asked. "I don't care." He said. "You pick." We went to his bedroom. "Marble Madness." I said as soon as I saw it. "Me and my brother use to play it all the time. I'll beat your ass in it." "Oh no you won't." He said. We sat down and he hooked up the Nintendo. He put the game in and we started playing. We both did horrible. "Beat my ass, hu?" He asked. I laughed. "Shut up."
12:05 PM Christina said... "Hey you said it." He said. "It's been years, leave me alone!" I said, laughing. We tried to play a couple more times, but got bored. "Okay, this was way more fun when I was a kid." I told him. "I agree! Wanna go some where? It'sway too nice out to stay inside." He said. "Absolutely!" I said. We stood up, and he kissed me when we got to the bedroom door.
12:10 PM Sarah said... I hugged him. "Or maybe we could stay in." He whispered. I giggled. "Sorry I felt brave there for a second, but it's gone now." I laughed. "Continue to be brave." I said. He started kissing me again and locked the bedroom door.
12:13 PM Christina said... "Thats more like it." I said smiling. He blushed. I unzipped the back of my dress and let it slip off, and onto the floor. Todd grinned, and pushed me back onto his bed. I pulled him down onto me, and started kissing him.
12:20 PM Sarah said... I pulled his shirt off over his head. He took a deep breath and I giggled. He laughed. I could tell he was really nervous. He held me close to him and kissed my neck. He unhooked my bra and I took it off. He looked down at my breasts and smiled. He layed back down on top of me and I giggled.

1:10 PM Sarah said... He reached over and turned on his radio, then turned it up loud. There was a loud knock on the door. "I'm busy!" Todd shouted. I layed down on top of him giggling. He looked at me and laughed. "Your phone is ringing! It's your Mom!" Denise shouted. "Did you answer it?!" He shouted. "Yeah! Sorry!" She shouted. He sighed. "Tell her I'm in the shower!" He shouted. "Okay!" She yelled back.
1:57 PM Christina said... "Where were we?" He asked me. I just giggled. "You know where we were." I told him, and kissed him. When we finished he got up and got dressed. "I've gotta call my mom back. I'll be back in a second." He said. "Okay. I'll be here." I said, and he left. I got dressed, and layed down on his bed. I was getting tired.
2:02 PM Sarah said... He came back in the room. "I have to go help my Mom fix her toilet." He said. I laughed. "Shut up." He said smiling. "It's okay. I'm tired anyway. I'll just head home." I said. "Alrighty. Give me a call tomorrow." He said. "I will." I said giving him a kiss. He walked me to my car and I left.
4:14 PM Christina said... When I got home Tim was there. "Where is everyone?" I asked. "Your mom took Aubry to the park." He said. "She's your mom too you know." I said. "No. She's better then my mom." He said. "Tim? Are you okay?" I asked him. "Yeah, I'm fine." He said, and smiled at me. He was sitting at the kitchen table. "You sound, down." I told him. "Practicing your Psychology class stuff on me?" He asked. "What?" "Nothing. I'm gonna go for a walk." He said, and left. "Okay then." I said to myself. I walked to my room and shut the door. I was still tired, so I layed down and took a nap.
9:09 PM Sarah said... I woke up an hour later to my phone ringing. I grabbed it and answered it. "Hello?" I mumbled. "It's Alex." "Hey, what's up?" I asked. "Nothing much. I'm just bored." He said. "Me too. I just took a nap." I said. "Do you want to go see a movie or something?" He asked. "Um, yeah I guess." I said. He laughed. "You sound so enthused." "I'm sorry, I'm still waking up. Do you want to pick me up?" I asked. "Yeah I could do that." He said. "Okay." "Alright. I'll be there soon." He said. "Okay." I said. "I'll get ready." "Alright, bye." He said. I hung up. I figured there was no harm in going to a movie with him. I got up and fixed myself up a little. There was a knock at the door. I walked out and opened it. There was a tall thin pretty black girl standing there. She looked like she had been crying. "Is this the Shere residence?" She asked pulling her sunglass off. "Yeah." I said confused. She smiled. "I'm Ariana." Tim came walking up to the door and Ariana turned around. Tim stopped walking. "What are you doing here?" He asked her. "Baby, I made a huge mistake." She said starting to cry. He hugged her. "You left her. You left her with me. I don't know how to take care of a child." He said. "I'm back. Back for good. I want us to be a family." She said. "Please." "Why don't you guys come inside." I said. He walked her into the kitchen and they sat down. I was surprised he was being so nice to her. "Do you want something to drink?" I asked her. "Water." Tim said puting his arm around her. She nodded. "Thank you." She told me.
8:14 AM Christina said... "I'm sorry. I freaked out. I didn't know how to take care of a baby." She told him. "I don't either. I love her, but I'm so lost." He said. "I know. I had a lot of time to think, but I realized I was just being selfish." she said. "Yeah. You were." He said. "Is she here?" She asked him. "No. She is with my Ste-" He looked at me, "With my mom." "Oh." She said. "They'll be back soon." I told her. "I'm Tim's sister Allison. You can call me Ally." I told her. "Hi. Nice to meet you. Sorry, I'm such a mess." She said, wiping her eyes.
8:24 AM Sarah said... I handed her a glass of water. "Thank you." She said smiling. I heard Alex honking his horn. "I'm really sorry to skip out, but I had plans to go to the movies. I'm sure you two would like to talk alone anyway. I'll be back in a couple hours." I said. Tim nodded. I walked out to Alex's car and got in. I told him about Ariana showing up and everything. "What a crazy women." He said. I laughed. "Yeah. Tim is sure being nice to her." "That's weird. He must really love her, hu?" "I guess." I said.
8:30 AM Christina said... "Maybe she isn't always crazy. Maybe she just freaked out." I said. "Yeah. I'll spare you the psycho-analysis on her." He said, and I laughed. "That is what I teach." He said. "And what I study. I think I'm going to keep going to school. I really want to be a psychiatrist." I told him. "Wow. That's a lot of school." He said. "I know, but it's what I'm most interested in. I was thinking about going into psychological/behavioral research too. I've still got a few semesters to figure it out though." I told him. "Well, you are smart enough to either." He said.
8:39 AM Sarah said... "Thanks. I swear you are the only person who tells me things like that." I said. He gave me a strange look. "Really?" "Yeah." I said. "Well, I can tell you more about how smart you are and how you will reach any goal you set for yourself." He said. I laughed. "Go on." He laughed. "Just kidding." I said. We both laughed. We pulled up into the movie theatre and parked. "Alright, let's see what's playing." He said. We got in line and looked at the movies that were playing. We picked some comedy we'd never heard of. I started pulling my wallet out of my purse and he stopped me. He insisted on paying. I didn't protest. "Thank you, sir." I said. He laughed. We went inside and sat towards the middle.
8:47 AM Christina said... "Want some popcorn or something?" He asked me. "Um. Rasinettes and a Diet Pepsi." I told him. "You got it." He said, and left. "These seats taken?" I heard someone ask. "Oh, no, your welcome to them." I said, looking up. My eyes got big. It was one of the teachers from the school. I couldn't remember her name. I was almost certain it was the one who came into Alex's office when I had to hide under his desk. She had a guy with her. I dabated if I should get up and move or not. I finally decided to get up, and just have Alex wait to walk in with me untill the movie started. I stood up, but it was too late, Alex was walking down the isle to sit on the other side of me. "Alex! Oh my god! How are you!" The woman shouted.
8:59 AM Sarah said... "Mel, Hi." He said. He looked at me with big eyes. "Were you sitting here?" She asked him. "Yeah. Um, that's my little cousin." He blurted out. I smiled. "Hi." "Hi. Nice to meet you. I teach at the same school. I'm Mrs. Que." She said. "I teach Behavioral Research Methods basically." She looked at Alex and giggled. He sat down next to me. "Shit." He whispered to me.
10:50 AM Christina said... "Really? Thats one of the things I was thinking about getting into." I said. "Really? Do you go to the university?" She asked. "Uh, yes I do, actually." I told her. "Sign up for my Intro class next semester. I'm assuming you've already taken the other basic Psyc classes." She said. "Yes I have. And I will." I told her. I looked over at Alex, and he looked so uncomfortable. Fortunatly the movie started a few seconds later.
11:00 AM Sarah said... "You shouldn't have said anything to her." He whispered. He looked frustrated. I rolled my eyes and started watching the movie. "You want to come home with me?" He whispered when the movie was ending. "I can't." I said. "Okay." He said smiling. "Just checking." "I'm sorry. I can't though. I'm really trying to make it work with Todd." I said. "I know." He said. "Just wasn't sure how serious you were." I smiled. "It has nothing to do with you." I said puting my hand on his leg. "I promise." "Okay." He said smiling. I squeezed his leg and let go.
11:27 AM Christina said... As soon as the credits came up, we bolted out of there. "Why did you talk to her?" He asked in the car. "Whats the big deal? You said I was your "much younger cousin". I told him. "I don't know! I'm just paranoid." He said. I smiled at him. He dropped me off at my house, and I waved good bye.
11:51 AM Sarah said... I went inside and Ariana was watching TV with Aubry. Tim and my Dad were in the kitchen talking. I just went to my bedroom. I was bored. I really wanted to hang out with Matt again. I debated whether or not to call him. I really enjoyed smoking with him though. Instead, I decided to call Tristin to supply me. I could always just smoke with her and her brother. I picked up my phone to call her and there was a knock at the door. "Yeah?" I asked. "It's Tim." I heard. I got up and opened the door. "Dad just took Ariana grocery shopping with Aubry." He said quietly. "Okay." I said smiling. "If I give you some money, can you get me. . . nevermind." He said. He laughed. "Yeah." I said smiling. "I feel weird asking my little sister." He said. "It's fine. I was actually just about to call my friend about the same thing." I said. "This is kind of weird. . ." He laughed. "Sorry." "Do you want to come with me to my friends house?" I asked. "Well, they will probably be back soon. I was thinking for tonight." He said. I laughed. "I have no idea. I was just going to go smoke with her." "Hmm." He said. "Why'd you have to go and get a lady pregnant?" I asked pushing him playfully. "I know, I know." He said smiling. "Can she go to her parents with Aubry or something?" I asked. "I'll talk to Mom. Tell her I need a break. Maybe she'll babysit and help Ariana out some more." He said. "One second." He went running down the hall. I laughed and called Tristin. She said it would be fine if we went over to her place. Tim came running back. "She said she would babysit if I told Ariana I was going out." He said. "But Ariana has to leave." "Okay." I said. We watched TV until they got back. "Hey, Ari." Tim said. "I'm going to be hanging out with my sister tonight. My Mom offered to babysit." "She is staying with us too." Dad said. I could not beleive how understanding everyone was being. I wondered if I knew the whole story. "You can go out. I'll get to bed early anyway. I'm exhausted." Ariana said. He kissed her on the cheek. "I'll see you later." He told her. "Where are you going?" Dad asked. "Oh Tristin is having a few people over to play games." I said quickly. He gave me a strange look. "Have fun." He said. "Bye." I said. We left and headed to Tristin's. "Play games?" He asked. "Dad knows I don't play games."

You laughed. You don't do that enough." I told him. "Yeah. I guess not." He said. I pulled into Tristins driveway a minute later. Her and Tyler walked out of the house. "Hey?" I asked confused as I climed out of the car. "Sorry. Change of plans. We're both a little low, and my parents are having a few friends over." Tristin explained. "So, we are going to my friends house. He's got some to sell, and he doesn't mind having people over." Tyler explained. "Okay, well I'll drive, hop in." I said. "Oh, by the way,this is my brother Tim. Tim, this is Tristin and her brother Tyler." I said, after everyone climbed in.
12:23 PM Sarah said... "What's your friends name?" I asked. "Paul." He answered. I stopped the car. "Matt has a friend named Paul." I said. "So!" Tristin said. "So, I am sure there is some connection to Todd." I said. "And?" She asked. "Tristin, I don't want to cause problems." I said. "Maybe it's not the same Paul." Tyler said. "Is he tall? And skinny?" I asked. "Yeah, but aren't a lot of people?" Tyler asked. "If it's him, I am going to kill you." I said as I started to drive again. Tim laughed. "I don't know about you guys, but I havn't met very many Paul's." "Shut up." I said. They all just laughed. "Don't worry about it. Even if it's him. Who cares." Tyler said.
12:27 PM Christina said... I looked in the rearview mirrior, and I could see tyler smiling at me. I smiled back. We got to Paul's apartment and I made Tyler and Tristin knock on the door. Tim kept grinning. "What?" I asked him. "Nothing. This just amuses me." He said. "What?" I asked. "I'm gonna get stoned with my baby sister." He said. "Shut up!" I told him. The door opened.
12:30 PM Sarah said... "Fucking figures." I said. Everyone looked at me. Paul squinted. "Ally?" He asked. "Tyler, I am going to kick your fucking ass." I said. He laughed and shrugged his shoulders. "Wow never heard you talk like that before." Tristin said laughing. We all went inside to his bedroom. "I won't tell Matt if that's what you're worried about." Paul said. "Yes you will. You're close friends." I said. Paul laughed. "He won't care." "As long as he doesn't tell Todd." I said. "He won't." Paul said. "Trust me."
12:39 PM Christina said... "Okay." I said. Tyler and Tim both handed him some money, and he gave them each a bag. I sat down on the bed with Tristin and Tyler. Tim sat down on a bean bag, and Paul sat down in his computer chair and rolled over to us. He had two joints in his hand and lit them both. He took a hit from both, and then gave one to Tyler, and one to Tristin. "So, whats going on with you guys?" Paul asked.
12:45 PM Sarah said... Tim put his finger up. "I've got a whole lot going on." He said. I smiled. Tim started explaining his whole situation with Aubry and Adriana. He was a lot more talkative outside the house. He seemed to really love both of them. He kept calling them his girls. It was cute. "Aw you have one heck of a brother." Tristin said to me. "Mine on the other hand. . ." She said. Tyler gave her a dirty look. Tim continued talking and I started laughing. "What?" Tim asked. "Sorry, this is just the most I've heard you talk since you've been back." I said. Tim just shrugged his shoulders and continued again.
12:53 PM Christina said... "You are too smart." I said in the middle of his talk. "What?" He asked. "You," I took a hit, then continued,"Are too smart. You hate how smart you are." I said. Tim didn't say anything, he looked thoughtful. "See. You are thinking about it now. Analyzing it. Is that why you quit school? Moved to Maine? Dress like a bum? I love you. I think you are brilliant. I've always thought that. Why are you so afraid of being yourself?" I asked him. "Is this phsycology hour?" He asked me. He looked a little depressed. "Maybe. I'm just stating what I'm observing. Sorry. You are a great brother, and very smart. And thats a good thing." I told him, and smiled. He smiled back. "Sorry guys. Guess my thoughts are excaping my mouth." I said, passing the joint to Tyler. He took it, holding onto my hand for a second. I looked at him and smiled. "Anyway!" Tristin shouted to end the brief serious moment. We all laughed.
1:01 PM Sarah said... "Let me learn all about you now." Tim said looking at me. "Oh you don't want to know what's been going on with me." I said. I looked at Paul. "And you aren't allowed to know." I said pointing at him. Paul laughed. "Who told you I have a big mouth? I am a trusting person." He said. "Seriously." "I was sleeping with my college phsycology teacher." I blurted out. "What did you just say?" Tim asked. Tristin died laughing and I pushed her. "Your teacher?" Tyler asked. "Wow."
1:07 PM Christina said... "Yeah." I said. "While he was your teacher?" Tim asked. "Yup. We finally stopped after we almost got caught out in public with each other, more then once." I said. "Wait. You HAVE to tell me what teacher now." Paul said. "No! I can't." I told him. "Tell them. Or I will." Tristin said. "Professor Learman." I said, laughing. "Your psycology teacher!" Paul shouted. "Yeah. Well, he was last semester." I said. "Wait, Alex? I had him before I dropped out." Tim said. "He was seeing this chick Brittany something or other. She told a few people and it spread. She transferred before he got in trouble though. I never believed her, but now-" He said. "What?" I asked, sitting forward. "Uh-oh." Paul said. "I'm guessing you thought you were his first scandal." "Shut up Paul." Tyler said.
1:12 PM Sarah said... I stood up. "Where is the bathroom?" I asked starting to cry. "Hey." Tyler said softly puting his hand on my back. "The door right across from my room." Paul said. I went to the bathroom and sat down on the toilet. I started crying. I buried my face in my hands. I heard the door open. I looked up. It was Tyler. He closed the door. "Hey." He said quietly as he walked over to me. "Don't jump to conclusions. Really you don't even know the whole story or if it's true or not." He said getting on his knees so he was level with me. He put his hands on my knees. "This might be the worst time to tell you this, but I have a major crush on you and I really really want to kiss you right now." He said.
1:28 PM Christina said... "What?" I asked. "Sorry." He said, standing up. "It's okay. Really?" I asked. "Yeah." He said, smiling. I held out my hand, and he helped me up. I gave him a hug. "You okay Ally?" He asked. "Yeah." I said. "You smell good." I told him, and he laughed. "What?" I asked. "You are so stoned." He said. "So are you!" I told him, looking up at him. He was a lot taller then I was.
1:35 PM Sarah said... "You are like a giant." I said. "I'm not that tall, sheesh." He said laughing. "I'm such a big stupid idiot." I said. "Ally, you don't know the story. Don't get upset." He said. He put his hand on my cheek and I smiled. I felt a little nervous tingle in my stomach. I giggled. He leaned down to kiss me.
1:39 PM Christina said... I let him. I knew I shouldn't, but I just had to see what it was like. We must have been kissing for a while, because there was a knock on the door. "Everything okay in there?" Tristin asked. "Yeah. Tyler cheered me up." I yelled back through the door. I looked at Tyler and he winked at me. I opened the door, and we walked back to Paul's room.
1:49 PM Sarah said... We all sat back down. "I'm sorry." Tim said. "Oh. It's no big deal. He's just going to get a mouthful from me." I said smiling. "Oh my god." Tristin said. "What?" I asked. "Tyler keeps looking at you and smiling." She said. I looked away and Tyler gave her a strange look. I giggled. "Oh my god." Tristin said. "OH MY GOD!" She shouted. "What?" I asked again. "You saw my brother's penis!" She shouted laughing. "Excuse me?!" I asked laughing. "You're stupid." Tyler said. "We did not have sex in the bathroom!" I yelled, still laughing.
1:55 PM Christina said... Everyone laughed. "What were you doing in there?" Tristin asked. "We were talking." Tyler told her, punching her leg. "OW! Jerk." She shouted. "This is really weird." Tim said. "Blame Tristin for that." I told him. "You kids are all crazy stoned." Paul said, laughing.
2:03 PM Sarah said... "Let's go to the basement." Paul said. We all stood up and followed him. We went down to the basement and sat down on the floor. Paul grabbed a tub out from the bottom of a shelf. He put it down on the floor by us and opened it. He had chips in there and some stupid random stuff. I grabbed the magic 8 ball.
2:25 PM Christina said... "Will Tristin ever be as cool as Ally?" I asked it, and shook it up. "It is doubtful." I said, and started laughing. "GIVE ME THAT!" She said, taking it from me. "Did Ally have sex with my brother in the bathroom?" She asked it, then shook it. "Ask me again later." She said. "OOOOO. Does that mean you are going to do it?" She shouted. "Tristin shut up!" Tyler said. "A SLINKY!" He shouted, pulling it out of the tub. "You have The Idiots Guide to Philosophy?" Tim asked, pulling that out. "Oh shit! Thats where that went!" Paul said. "DUDE! This is shit! You wanna learn the real stuff, talk to me." He said. "No smart people talk. Dumb people in the room!" Tristin said.
2:30 PM Sarah said... We all laughed. I looked at Tyler and he was playing with the slinky. His eyes followed it as he played with it. I giggled and he looked up at me. "Come here." He said. I scooted over to him. "Watch the colors." He said. I scooted behind him and rested my chin on his shoulder. "See." He said.
2:35 PM Christina said... "Whoa. Thats cool." I said. He laughed. I looked over at Tristin, and she had fallen asleep with her head against the wall. Paul and Tim were in some deep, stoned, wannabe philosophical discussion. I sat up, and started rubbing his shoulders.
2:44 PM Sarah said... "That feels good." He said puting down the slinky. "I'm a master, that's why." I said. Tim looked over at me and smiled. I smiled back. "This is so weird getting high with my brother." I whispered. Tyler laughed.
4:04 PM Christina said... "Nah. Tristin and I do once in a while. It can be fun." He said. "Wanna go for a walk or something? I'm tired of sitting, and these guys are being boring." I asked. "Yeah, lets go." He said, standing up. "Whats up?" Paul asked. "We're going for a walk. You guys are being to intelectual." Tyler said. "Suit yourselves. We'll be her." Paul said.
4:14 PM Sarah said... We left the house and started walking down the street. "So, you have a boyfriend I assume." He said. "Yeah, I do." I said. "Oh." "Sorry." I said. "No, it's okay." He said. "Honestly, I'm not looking for a relationship." "Why's that?" "I'm fine with the way things are right now." He said smiling. "What do you mean?" I asked. "I have a friend, Breanne that I guess I am kind of seeing." He said. "I'm sorry that I kissed you. I just couldn't help myself." I laughed, "Same here."
4:30 PM Christina said... "You couldn't help yourself?" He asked. "Are you kidding me?" I asked. "I wish I could do it again!" I said, before I could stop myself. Tyler laughed. "Really?" He asked. "I guess so." I told him. We got to a lamp post at the end of the streat, and he stopped walking. I stopped too to see what he was doing. He took my hand, and pulled me close to him. He put his other hand on my lower back, and started kissing me again. I put my arms around his neck, and leaned down a little bit more for me.
6:57 PM Sarah said... I stopped and backed away. "I'm sorry. I really like my boyfriend." I said. "I shouldn't be doing this." He nodded. "Sorry." "It's okay." I said. "Let's walk back." "Alright." He said.
7:07 PM Christina said... I walked back to the house so fast. We went back inside, and back to the basement. I sat down next to my brother so he was between me and Tyler. "You okay?" Tim asked me. "Fine." I said, really fast. Tyler cleared his throat. "We should probably head out soon." I blurted out. "Okay. I'll drive though. You smoked a LOT more then me." Tim said. "Okay. Someone wake Tristin up." i said, giggling, when I looked over at her. She was curled up in a ball, and sound asleep.
7:10 PM Sarah said... Tyler woke her up and we all headed back home. We dropped off Tyler and Tristin, then went home. Everyone was sleeping when we got there. We both just went straight to bed.
7:25 PM Christina said... The next morning I woke up to Aubry crying. I got up, and walked out to see what was up. I felt like shit. I saw Tim in the kitchen holding Aubry, and trying to put a bottle together. "Here, I'll hold her, you make the bottle." I said yawning. "How come the two stoners are the only ones up with the baby?" Tim asked. I laughed. "I guess it is our punishment." I said, and took Aubry from him. She stopped crying as soon as I held her. "Stoners? Did I miss something?" Christopher asked, walking into the kitchen. "No." Tim said. "You two look like shit." Chris said, laughing. "Shut up. Start some coffee, nerd." I said to him. He stuck his tounge out, and then started making some coffee. "Do you really smoke?" Chris asked me. "Dude, drop it already, geeze." Tim told him. "No, I wanna know!" Chris said. "Yes. Now shut up about it before someone else hears." I said. Tim was done with the bottle and handed it to me. I sat down at the table, and started feeding the baby. Tim started pouring him and I each a bowl is cereal. "So whats up with you and Ariana?" I asked him.
9:00 PM Sarah said... "I want to ask her to marry me." He said. "Wow, really?" I asked. "What?!" Christopher asked. Tim laughed. "I really love her." "That's sweet." I said smiling. "So, you might have a sister-in-law soon." He said. Ariana walked into the kitchen. "Got everything covered?" She asked yawning. "Baby, you know I am super Dad." Tim said. Ariana giggled and gave him a kiss. "Do all super Dad's have their sister's feed their babies?" She asked. She looked at me and giggled. "I offered." I said smiling. She walked over to us and sat down next to me. She rubbed Aubry's head. "Does Auntie got you?" She said to Aubry. "You want me to take her?" She asked. "If you want. I don't mind feeding her." I said smiling. "She's all yours then." She said. "You can always lay her down in front of the TV with a pillow too. She'll ussually hold the bottle."
9:42 PM Christina said... "Well, I hope so, she's two." Tim said. "Sorry. I guess I still treat her like a baby sometimes. And she isn't two, she is ALMOST two." Ariana said. "Coffee?" Chrisptoher asked Ariana. "Yes, please!" She said. "Hey, you wanna go to the mall with me today? We could hang out, get to know each other a little better." I asked her. "Yeah! I would really like that. Thanks." she said. "Of course!" I told her. I got up and turned on cartoons for Aubry. She walked around drinking her bottle, and playing with a few toys that where laying around.
9:54 PM Sarah said... "I'll go get ready." Ariana said to me. "Okay." I said smiling. "When do you want to go? Like noon? Then we can get lunch somewhere too." She said. "Sounds great." I said. I took a shower and got dressed. I drove over to Alex's and knocked on the door. Chris opened it. He looked surprised to see me. "Hey, come on in." He said. "Alex is in his room. Not sure if he's awake yet." "Okay, thanks." I said smiling. I went to his bedroom and walked in. I closed the door. He was sleeping still. I sat down on the bed. "Alex." I said softly tapping him. He opened his eyes and sat up quickly. "Ally?" He asked wiping his eyes. "I need to talk to you about something." I said. "What?" He asked. "Who's Britney?" I asked. "Britney who?" "From school." I said. "I don't think I know a Britney." He said. "According to my brother some Britney girl claimed that you and her were an item. Some student." I said. "Ally, I have no idea what you are talking about." He said. "Is this the first time you've been invovled with a student at the school?" I asked. "Ally, what is this? Of course it is. You think I'm some weirdo or something?" He asked. "No." I said. "I've never been involved with any other student and I don't know anyone named Britney." He said. "You promise?" I asked. "Yes. I promise." He said. "I remember when I first started though, some guy was forced to transfer to another school because rumors were flying around about him being involved with a student." "Alex, do you swear?" I asked. "Ally, I swear I have never been involved with a student before." He said. "Okay. That's all I needed to hear." I said. "I won't worry about it anymore." "Good." He said. "Sorry, it just kind of freaked me out." I said. "Are you sure this Britney chick was talking about me?" He asked. "No. I wasn't there. She told my brother. I don't know. I don't know the whole story. Let's just drop it." I said. "Okay." He said. "Don't worry about it. I've never heard anything bad or negative about you from anyone." I said. "It was probably just some dumb rumor someone started for attention." He sighed. "Yeah, I'm a little sick of that school. A lot of them act like they are in high school." He said. "They sure do." I said.

8:50 AM Sarah said... I hopped into bed with him. "This is weird. I've been spending more time with my guy friends than my actual boyfriend." I said. "What?" "I should probably go see him tonight." I said. He gave me a strange look. I laughed. "Yeah, I guess we have a strange relationship." "I'll say!" He said. I layed back and closed my eyes.

We drove to blockbuster, and I kept trying not to laugh at stuff. I don't think anyone noticed. We got to the store and split up. Everyone was going to pick one movie. Alex and Beth took the first half of the store, and Chris and I took the second half.
"Okay, what do you want?" He asked.
"I have no idea!" I said, and laughed.
"I'm so on to you." He said, and laughed.
"What?" I asked, getting paranoid.
"It's okay. I smoked a lot in college. I just picked up on some signs. I think it's cool. I've tried to get Alex to, but he's too uptight." Chris said, and I laughed. We grabbed two movies, and met Alex and Beth at the front of the store.
"Okay, what have got?" Chris asked everyone.

We all looked at Beth. "Leaving Las Vegas." She said holding it up smiling.
"Wow. I am impressed." Chris said puting arm around her smiling. "You didn't pick some sappy shitty chick flick." He said.
We all looked at Chris. "Ferris Buelers Day Off." He said. "Classic funniness."
I laughed. "I love that movie!" I said a little too loud. Beth gave me a strange look.

My phone started ringing. It was Todd. I answered it.
"Ally, it's Todd." He whispered.
"Todd, is something wrong?" I asked.
"I was at a party and the cops came. Some people were smoking pot and they were trying to bust everyone." He whispered. "Can you come pick me up? I am hiding in some bushes in front of Colin's house. He's not here. I was hoping he was."
"What?!" I shouted. "They can't bust you unless you have some on you."
"I know that, Ally." He said rudly. "I am just drunk and totally freaked out."
"And why are you calling me?" I asked.
"Ally, come on. We just had a couple fights." He whispered. "Oh my god, Ally. There are cops driving by shining lights."
"Damnit, Todd!" I shouted. "I don't even see how I could do that. What if they see me and think I was at the party?"
"They will see that you are not drunk or high." He said. "You wouldn't get in trouble."
"What if I am one of those?" I asked.
"You're drunk too?" He asked.
"No." I said.
"Would you stop fucking with me and come pick me up?" He asked.
"What if I AM one of those?" I asked again, hoping he would catch on. Beth gave me a strange look. I just smiled.
"You said you weren't." He said.
"I only cancelled out one of those." I said.
"You're high?" He asked.
"Yes. I am." I said.
He hung up the phone. I knew he was upset. I tried not to cry. Alex and Chris got back in the car.
"Alex, I have to go. Todd needs me." I said. "I have to go pick him up. He's stranded at some guys house and he's been drinking."
"Oh. Okay." He said. "You can come back over afterwards if you want."
"I will." I said smiling.
We got back to his apartments and I walked ot my car and got in. I called Tristin. I was too afraid to drive over to Colin's house high, especially since I could get stopped by a cop. She picked me up and we drove to Colin's house to pick up Todd. "He said he was hiding in the bushes." I told Tristin.
"You have weird friends." She said.
"I'm so sorry about this." I said.
She smiled. "No big deal at all." She said.
I called Todd to let him know I was on my way. I was so frustrated.

"Why the hell are you back at the professors then? What is wrong with you? Matt totally digs you!" She said.

"He is not. He's in college." She said.
"He smoked out all the time." I told her.

"I didn't mean anything by that. I don't know. I just like Alex." I guess.
"Well, I think you're weird, but whatever." She said laughing. We pulled up in front of Colins house, and spotted Todd in the bushes.
"Heh. Nice hiding job." She said, and honked the horn. I got out, so Todd could see me. He came running up and jumped in the back.
"Yeah, you were so visible." I told him.
"I'm mad at you." He said.
"Good, I'm mad at you too." I told him.
"Who did you smoke with?" He asked.
"Nonya."
"Who?" He said, getting angry.
"Fucking me! Calm the fuck down!" Tristin said.
"Whatever. It was Matt wasn't it?" He asked.
"No, it wasn't." I told him.

"You are drunk. I'm not having this conversation with you!" I said.

"Ally?" Todd asked. I didn't say anything. Tristin dropped us off at Todd's. He had trouble with his keys, and kept dropping them. I got frustrated, picked them up and unlocked the door for him.
"Thanks." he said.
"Uh-huh." I said. We walked back to his room, and he turned on the light and shut the door. I sat down on his bed, and he plopped down next to me.
"Guess we're roomies for the night." I said.
"Sorry." He told me.
"Honestly, I'm more mad at Tristin right now." I told him.
"It's my fault you had to come out in the first place." He said.
"So, how is your girlfriend?" I asked kind of snotty.
"She isn't." He said.
"What?" I asked.
"She isn't. I lied. I wanted to see if you would get jealous. I'm sorry." He said.
"WHAT? You JERK!" I shouted.
"I'm SORRY!" He yelled.
"I don't believe you! I thought we were friends!" I shouted.
"I thought so too! I can't help it!" He said. I got up, and walked over to his window. It started raining.
"That's weird. It normaly doesn't start raining for anouther couple weeks." I said.
"It's raining?" He asked.
"Yeah." I said.
"Thats funny. I don't remember seeing any clouds." He said.
"It's dark. And you're drunk." I told him. He walked over and looked out the window with me.
"I'm sorry I was with Matt. And got stoned." I told him.
"Why are you apologizing for that?" He asked.
"Because. I told him I wouldn't tell you. He was pretty sure you would kick his ass." I said, laughing.
"Hey, I could you know. I have before." Todd said.
"I believe you. He had the fear of God in his eyes when he made me promise not to tell you. Don't let him know you know. Okay?"
"Sure." He said, and put his arm around my waist. I looked in his eyes and smiled.
"You feel better now?" He asked. I shrugged my shoulders.
"Still just as confused as ever I gues." I said, and looked away.
"About what?" He asked.
"Everything." I told him. I turned away from him and walked back over to his bed. I sat down, and he sat down next to me.
"That's all life is, isn't it? Just one big confusing mess?" He asked.
"Yeah. I guess so." I told him. "Todd?"
"What?" He asked. I leaned over and kissed him. He brushed my hair out of my face, and pushed me over backwards, kissing me the whole time. I stopped.
"What?" He asked.
"Don't stop this time." I told him, and smiled. He smiled back and kissed me again. I unbuttoned his shirt and slid it off of him.

He looked away biting his lip. "You are making me so nervous right now." He said.
"Well, stalling by talking about other guys is very much a turn off." I said.
"I'm sorry." He said. "It just bothers me that just a few minutes ago, you were mad because you couldn't see Alex."
I sighed and started to get up. "No. Stay." He said.
"The thing with Alex is all sexual." I said. "Is that what you want me to say?"
"So instead you are getting it from me, since you can't get it from me?" He said. I pushed him over and stood up. "It is not like that at all!" I shouted.
"You can't blame me for thinking that." He said.
"Did you not hear what Tristin said in the car?" I asked rudly.
"That you love me? You denied it." He said.
I walked over to the window and looked out again. I saw some lightning and it looked really cool. Todd came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Do you?" He asked.
"YES! OKAY! I do. I tried to tell you the other day, but you said you were dating your ex again." I said.
"I thought you didn't want anything to do with me." He said.

"So what about Matt and Alex?" He asked.
"Stop. I was upset. I didn't feel important or wanted." I said.
"So, you went were the attention was?" He asked.
"Yes." I told him. "I guess so."
"So. Do you want me? Or do you want because I'm here right now?" He asked.
"DAMN IT! I just told you I fucking LOVE you! You know what, Fuck it! I'll walk home." I said, crying. I started to open the door, and he closed it.

"Thanks. Do you have something I can wear?" I asked him.
"Yeah. Here." He said. He opened his drawer and pulled out some drawstring pants and black t-shirt. I changed right there. I'm not sure if he watched or not. Knowing Todd though, I'm sure he turned away. I climbed in his bed, and he slid in after me, hitting the light switch. we were both facing the window and watched the rain trickle down and gather on the window sill.

We got in Todd's truck and headed to Alex's.

"Okay." I said. We both got out of the truck and went back inside to his bedroom. "What do we do now?" He asked.
"We put all that behind us. We were not a couple anyway." I said.
"Ally, I did sleep with Elsa." He confessed.
"And that's fine." I said. "I can accept that." I was a little upset, but I ignored it. There was no reason for me to be upset about that. We weren't together. I guess I was just a little jelous. I sat down on his bed. "That's it?" He asked.
"Yeah. I mean I'm a little jelous, but I'll get over it quickly." I said.
"So, now I have to compare to Goose, Alex and Matt." He said.

"I could be wrong, but I think I could at least be better than Goose." He said. "Not sure about the professor or Matt."

I left and drove to my house instead of right to Todd's. I wanted to shower and change. When I walked in and Tim was at the kitchen table.
"Hey." He said.

"Not much. I'm waiting for your Mom to get ready so we can go shopping for some things for Aubry." He said.
"Oh cool. Hey, are you okay?" I asked him.
"Yeah. Just my normal glass-is-half-empty-self." He said. I shook my head. "I just don't feel like I'm a good enough father for Aubry. I can't even take care of myself." He said.
"Don't even say that! You are brilliant. And, a good father." I told him.
"It's just weird. She's two. I've missed so much up untill now." he said. I tried to imagine what it would be like to have a two year old suddenly and unexpectidly in my life. I couldn't.
"It'll be a little strange, but once you get used to it, you'll be fine." I told him.
"Yeah, I guess you're right. Your hair smells like pot by the way." He said.
"What?" I asked.
"Don't worry. I'm just used to the smell. Go take a shower." He said, laughing.

I hung up. I figured there was no harm in going to a movie with him. I got up and fixed myself up a little. There was a knock at the door. I walked out and opened it. There was a tall thin pretty black girl standing there. She looked like she had been crying. "Is this the Shere residence?" She asked pulling her sunglass off.
"Yeah." I said confused.
She smiled. "I'm Ariana."
Tim came walking up to the door and Ariana turned around. Tim stopped walking. "What are you doing here?" He asked her.
"Baby, I made a huge mistake." She said starting to cry. He hugged her. "You left her. You left her with me. I don't know how to take care of a child." He said.
"I'm back. Back for good. I want us to be a family." She said. "Please."
"Why don't you guys come inside." I said. He walked her into the kitchen and they sat down. I was surprised he was being so nice to her. "Do you want something to drink?" I asked her.
"Water." Tim said puting his arm around her. She nodded. "Thank you." She told me.

"I know. I had a lot of time to think, but I realized I was just being selfish." she said.

"No. She is with my Ste-" He looked at me, "With my mom."

"They'll be back soon." I told her. "I'm Tim's sister Allison. You can call me Ally." I told her.

I heard Alex honking his horn. "I'm really sorry to skip out, but I had plans to go to the movies. I'm sure you two would like to talk alone anyway. I'll be back in a couple hours." I said.
Tim nodded. I walked out to Alex's car and got in. I told him about Ariana showing up and everything.
"What a crazy women." He said.
I laughed. "Yeah. Tim is sure being nice to her."
"That's weird. He must really love her, hu?"
"I guess." I said.

"That is what I teach." He said.
"And what I study. I think I'm going to keep going to school. I really want to be a psychiatrist." I told him.
"Wow. That's a lot of school." He said.
"I know, but it's what I'm most interested in. I was thinking about going into psychological/behavioral research too. I've still got a few semesters to figure it out though." I told him.
"Well, you are smart enough to either." He said.

"Just kidding." I said. We both laughed. We pulled up into the movie theatre and parked. "Alright, let's see what's playing." He said. We got in line and looked at the movies that were playing. We picked some comedy we'd never heard of. I started pulling my wallet out of my purse and he stopped me. He insisted on paying. I didn't protest. "Thank you, sir." I said. He laughed. We went inside and sat towards the middle.

"These seats taken?" I heard someone ask.
"Oh, no, your welcome to them." I said, looking up. My eyes got big. It was one of the teachers from the school. I couldn't remember her name. I was almost certain it was the one who came into Alex's office when I had to hide under his desk. She had a guy with her. I dabated if I should get up and move or not. I finally decided to get up, and just have Alex wait to walk in with me untill the movie started. I stood up, but it was too late, Alex was walking down the isle to sit on the other side of me.
"Alex! Oh my god! How are you!" The woman shouted.

"Yes I have. And I will." I told her. I looked over at Alex, and he looked so uncomfortable. Fortunatly the movie started a few seconds later.

"I know." He said. "Just wasn't sure how serious you were."
I smiled. "It has nothing to do with you." I said puting my hand on his leg. "I promise."

I went inside and Ariana was watching TV with Aubry. Tim and my Dad were in the kitchen talking. I just went to my bedroom. I was bored. I really wanted to hang out with Matt again. I debated whether or not to call him. I really enjoyed smoking with him though. Instead, I decided to call Tristin to supply me. I could always just smoke with her and her brother. I picked up my phone to call her and there was a knock at the door. "Yeah?" I asked.
"It's Tim." I heard. I got up and opened the door.
"Dad just took Ariana grocery shopping with Aubry." He said quietly.
"Okay." I said smiling.
"If I give you some money, can you get me. . . nevermind." He said. He laughed.
"Yeah." I said smiling.
"I feel weird asking my little sister." He said.
"It's fine. I was actually just about to call my friend about the same thing." I said. "This is kind of weird. . ."
He laughed. "Sorry."
"Do you want to come with me to my friends house?" I asked.
"Well, they will probably be back soon. I was thinking for tonight." He said.
I laughed. "I have no idea. I was just going to go smoke with her."
"Hmm." He said.
"Why'd you have to go and get a lady pregnant?" I asked pushing him playfully.
"I know, I know." He said smiling.
"Can she go to her parents with Aubry or something?" I asked.
"I'll talk to Mom. Tell her I need a break. Maybe she'll babysit and help Ariana out some more." He said. "One second." He went running down the hall. I laughed and called Tristin. She said it would be fine if we went over to her place. Tim came running back. "She said she would babysit if I told Ariana I was going out." He said. "But Ariana has to leave."
"Okay." I said.
We watched TV until they got back. "Hey, Ari." Tim said. "I'm going to be hanging out with my sister tonight. My Mom offered to babysit."
"She is staying with us too." Dad said.
I could not beleive how understanding everyone was being. I wondered if I knew the whole story. "You can go out. I'll get to bed early anyway. I'm exhausted." Ariana said.
He kissed her on the cheek. "I'll see you later." He told her.
"Where are you going?" Dad asked.
"Oh Tristin is having a few people over to play games." I said quickly.
He gave me a strange look. "Have fun." He said.
"Bye." I said.
We left and headed to Tristin's. "Play games?" He asked. "Dad knows I don't play games."

"Sorry. Change of plans. We're both a little low, and my parents are having a few friends over." Tristin explained.
"So, we are going to my friends house. He's got some to sell, and he doesn't mind having people over." Tyler explained.
"Okay, well I'll drive, hop in." I said.
"Oh, by the way,this is my brother Tim. Tim, this is Tristin and her brother Tyler." I said, after everyone climbed in.

"Okay." I said. Tyler and Tim both handed him some money, and he gave them each a bag. I sat down on the bed with Tristin and Tyler. Tim sat down on a bean bag, and Paul sat down in his computer chair and rolled over to us. He had two joints in his hand and lit them both. He took a hit from both, and then gave one to Tyler, and one to Tristin.

Tim started explaining his whole situation with Aubry and Adriana. He was a lot more talkative outside the house. He seemed to really love both of them. He kept calling them his girls. It was cute.

Tyler gave her a dirty look. Tim continued talking and I started laughing. "What?" Tim asked.
"Sorry, this is just the most I've heard you talk since you've been back." I said.

"See. You are thinking about it now. Analyzing it. Is that why you quit school? Moved to Maine? Dress like a bum? I love you. I think you are brilliant. I've always thought that. Why are you so afraid of being yourself?" I asked him.
"Is this phsycology hour?" He asked me. He looked a little depressed.
"Maybe. I'm just stating what I'm observing. Sorry. You are a great brother, and very smart. And thats a good thing." I told him, and smiled. He smiled back.
"Sorry guys. Guess my thoughts are excaping my mouth." I said, passing the joint to Tyler. He took it, holding onto my hand for a second. I looked at him and smiled.
"Anyway!" Tristin shouted to end the brief serious moment. We all laughed.

"Wait, Alex? I had him before I dropped out." Tim said. "He was seeing this chick Brittany something or other. She told a few people and it spread. She transferred before he got in trouble though. I never believed her, but now-" He said.
"What?" I asked, sitting forward.
"Uh-oh." Paul said. "I'm guessing you thought you were his first scandal."
"Shut up Paul." Tyler said.

I stood up. "Where is the bathroom?" I asked starting to cry.
"Hey." Tyler said softly puting his hand on my back.
"The door right across from my room." Paul said. I went to the bathroom and sat down on the toilet. I started crying. I buried my face in my hands. I heard the door open. I looked up. It was Tyler. He closed the door. "Hey." He said quietly as he walked over to me. "Don't jump to conclusions. Really you don't even know the whole story or if it's true or not." He said getting on his knees so he was level with me. He put his hands on my knees.
"This might be the worst time to tell you this, but I have a major crush on you and I really really want to kiss you right now." He said.

"I guess so." I told him. We got to a lamp post at the end of the streat, and he stopped walking. I stopped too to see what he was doing. He took my hand, and pulled me close to him. He put his other hand on my lower back, and started kissing me again. I put my arms around his neck, and leaned down a little bit more for me.

I walked back to the house so fast. We went back inside, and back to the basement. I sat down next to my brother so he was between me and Tyler.

"Okay. I'll drive though. You smoked a LOT more then me." Tim said.
"Okay. Someone wake Tristin up." i said, giggling, when I looked over at her. She was curled up in a ball, and sound asleep.

The next morning I woke up to Aubry crying. I got up, and walked out to see what was up. I felt like shit. I saw Tim in the kitchen holding Aubry, and trying to put a bottle together.
"Here, I'll hold her, you make the bottle." I said yawning.
"How come the two stoners are the only ones up with the baby?" Tim asked. I laughed.
"I guess it is our punishment." I said, and took Aubry from him. She stopped crying as soon as I held her.
"Stoners? Did I miss something?" Christopher asked, walking into the kitchen.
"No." Tim said.
"You two look like shit." Chris said, laughing.
"Shut up. Start some coffee, nerd." I said to him. He stuck his tounge out, and then started making some coffee.
"Do you really smoke?" Chris asked me.
"Dude, drop it already, geeze." Tim told him.
"No, I wanna know!" Chris said.
"Yes. Now shut up about it before someone else hears." I said. Tim was done with the bottle and handed it to me. I sat down at the table, and started feeding the baby. Tim started pouring him and I each a bowl is cereal.
"So whats up with you and Ariana?" I asked him.

"Wow, really?" I asked.
"What?!" Christopher asked.
Tim laughed. "I really love her."
"That's sweet." I said smiling.
"So, you might have a sister-in-law soon." He said.
Ariana walked into the kitchen. "Got everything covered?" She asked yawning.
"Baby, you know I am super Dad." Tim said.
Ariana giggled and gave him a kiss. "Do all super Dad's have their sister's feed their babies?" She asked. She looked at me and giggled. "I offered." I said smiling. She walked over to us and sat down next to me. She rubbed Aubry's head. "Does Auntie got you?" She said to Aubry.
"You want me to take her?" She asked.
"If you want. I don't mind feeding her." I said smiling.
"She's all yours then." She said. "You can always lay her down in front of the TV with a pillow too. She'll ussually hold the bottle."

"Sorry. I guess I still treat her like a baby sometimes. And she isn't two, she is ALMOST two." Ariana said.
"Coffee?" Chrisptoher asked Ariana.
"Yes, please!" She said.
"Hey, you wanna go to the mall with me today? We could hang out, get to know each other a little better." I asked her.
"Yeah! I would really like that. Thanks." she said.
"Of course!" I told her. I got up and turned on cartoons for Aubry. She walked around drinking her bottle, and playing with a few toys that where laying around.

I took a shower and got dressed. I drove over to Alex's and knocked on the door. Chris opened it. He looked surprised to see me. "Hey, come on in." He said. "Alex is in his room. Not sure if he's awake yet."
"Okay, thanks." I said smiling. I went to his bedroom and walked in. I closed the door. He was sleeping still. I sat down on the bed. "Alex." I said softly tapping him. He opened his eyes and sat up quickly. "Ally?" He asked wiping his eyes.
"I need to talk to you about something." I said.
"What?" He asked.
"Who's Britney?" I asked.
"Britney who?"
"From school." I said.
"I don't think I know a Britney." He said.
"According to my brother some Britney girl claimed that you and her were an item. Some student." I said.
"Ally, I have no idea what you are talking about." He said.
"Is this the first time you've been invovled with a student at the school?" I asked.
"Ally, what is this? Of course it is. You think I'm some weirdo or something?" He asked.
"No." I said.
"I've never been involved with any other student and I don't know anyone named Britney." He said.
"You promise?" I asked.
"Yes. I promise." He said. "I remember when I first started though, some guy was forced to transfer to another school because rumors were flying around about him being involved with a student."
"Alex, do you swear?" I asked.
"Ally, I swear I have never been involved with a student before." He said.
"Okay. That's all I needed to hear." I said. "I won't worry about it anymore."
"Good." He said.
"Sorry, it just kind of freaked me out." I said.
"Are you sure this Britney chick was talking about me?" He asked.
"No. I wasn't there. She told my brother. I don't know. I don't know the whole story. Let's just drop it." I said.
"Okay." He said.
"Don't worry about it. I've never heard anything bad or negative about you from anyone." I said. "It was probably just some dumb rumor someone started for attention."
He sighed. "Yeah, I'm a little sick of that school. A lot of them act like they are in high school." He said.
"They sure do." I said.
