I woke up the next morning to a bunch of yelling. I walked out to the kitchen to see what was going on. My mom and dad were yelling at Chris about something.
"What is going on?" I asked.
"Your brother was in the liqour cabinet again! We have a whole missing bottle! We found this on the floor!" My dad shouted. He held up a piece of glass that had part of a label on it.
"I didn't, I swear!" Christopher protested.
"Oh, so the bottle just broke itself did it?" My mom asked.
"Stop! I broke it!" I said. Everyone looked at me shocked. Especialy Chris.
"I wanted a glass after Todd left. I was going to take a hot bath and relax, and when I was pouring the glass, i dropped the bottle. I tried cleaning it all up. I was just going to buy you a bottle today to replace it." I lied.
I could tell that my Mom knew I was lying by the look she gave me.
Dad threw away the peice of glass and left the room. "Will you two please clean up this kitchen? It's a mess." Mom said.
"Yeah." I said.
She looked at Christopher. "Stay out of the liquor cabinet. You're not old enough to be drinking." She said and left the room.
"Thank you." He said to me.
"Yeah." I said frustrated.
He grabbed the broom and started to sweep.
"Sorry." He said.
"Hey, no biggie. I had fun hanging out last night. Maybe we don't give each other a chance." I said.
"Maybe you are right." He laughed.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing. That was just a really close call." He said.
"So, who is this Aubry chick?" I asked.
"Oh god! Do NOT tell Anna I went to the movies with her, PLEASE!" He said. I grabbed a spounge and started wiping up the counters.
"Why?" I asked.
"It wasn't a date. She is a slutty bitch, and kind of blackmailed me into taking her." He said.
"Wow! Interesting..." I said. Chris just looked at me.
"Christpoher, I wouldn't say a thing." I told him.
"Thanks. Anna's a sweetheart." He said, and smiled.
"Awwww. You are so cute!" I said.
"Shut up jerkface!" He shouted.
"Asswipe!" I said, and stuck out my tounge.
"I hope Mom doesn't tell Dad." He said.
"She won't. She's cool like that." I said smiling.
We finished cleaning up the kitchen and I layed down on the couch in the living room to read for a little while. I read for about an hour, until Todd called me to invite me to his friend Colin's birthday party. I was excited, because it had been a while since I had been to a party. I knew I was going to run into Goose too, which made me giggle. I put my book down on the coffee table and took a shower.
When I got dressed and called Tristin to see if she was coming.
"Hell yeah I'm coming! I NEED to PARTAAY!" She said.
"Me too! What do you say I come over early and we get ready at your place?" I asked.
"Sounds awesome! I'll order a pizza for lunch." She said, and we hung up. I got dressed, grabbed a change of clothes and my make-up kit, and left. I called my mom to let her know I was going to be out for the night. I just said I was staying with Tristin, so she wouldn't be worried about me. When I got to Tristin's, her older brother answered the door.
"Hey, Ally." He said.
"Hey, Tyler." I said smiling. I always thought he was really hot and I always got nervous around him.
"Tris is in her bedroom." He said.
"Okay, cool." I said.
I walked in and he closed the door. I got a wiff of his cologne and it smelled really good. I walked faster to her room. I tired to open her door, but it was locked. "Tristin!" I said laughing.
"One second." She said. A minute went by and she hadn't let me in yet. "Tristin!" I said.
"She didn't let you in yet?" Tyler asked walking up to me.
"No. Tristin!" I said again.
Tyler started sniffing loudly. "She's smoking pot." He said. He smiled and walked down the hall and into his bedroom. She opened her door and pulled me in quickly closing the door. She giggled and went to her bathroom. Tristin was spoiled. Her parents gave her the master bedroom. I definatly smelled pot in there and she had her window open. "Tristin, are you smoking now?" I asked her.
"I have since I was in middle school. I don't do it all the time. Just when I feel like it." She said.
"You never told me that!" I said laughing.
She shrugged her shoulders. "I can probably count on one hand how many times I did it during the school year." She said, "I really missed it though."
I laughed.
"Do you want some?" She asked.
"No, thanks." I said smiling.
I sat down at her vanity and plugged in her curling iron.
